Mr. Cloyd is a Former Chief Criminal Investigator at the Washington State
Attorney General Homicide Investigation. Tracking System tracks and
supports Homicide investigations in Washington State. He retired in 2016
from the Seattle Police Department, where he had worked since 1979. He
was assigned as a Detective in 1990 and was a Homicide Detective from
1994 to 2016. Has investigated and/or assisted with investigating hundreds
of homicides and officer-involved shootings during that time, including
serial murders, mass murders, and acts of domestic terrorism resulting in
death. Director of Investigations Consulting for the American Investigative
Society of Cold Cases. (AISOCC), a national non-profit that reviews and
recommends steps for investigators to take across the US in cold case
murder investigations. Director of Investigations for the Midwest Cold Case
Task Force, which assists in the investigation of Cold Case murders in the
Midwest United States..
