The red represents the blood of the fallen
Those who gave their life, soul and all
We remember those whose bravery stood
But bodies came to fall
The Nation falls silent in respect and love
For two minutes we stand together
No matter how the world stands
We will always stand together, forever
On the field that lay bodies of those
Who aided us to a win
They fought until they could go no longer
Even with their future seeming dim
They gave up their today for our tomorrow
For our beginning they came to an end
If only we could thank those who left
If only we could make amends
On the eleventh month, eleventh day, eleventh hour
The Nation stands with pride
We listen to the sound of the Last Post
And it’s our fear that we hide
Our troops left with no idea
If they would come back alive or end up dead
We could never have predicted, in years to come
We’d find a Sea of Red.
