A Never Ending Christmas
The joy begins when the tree goes up,
The branches are sparkling, shimmering,
shining,
The star tops the tree.
Next is stockings, red, green and gold,
Filled with presents for all untold,
Gifts for everyone.
Then comes the carolling, loud and clear,
Out in the street for all to hear,
Such a lovely sound.
And after, the food, so much to share,
Pulling crackers, maybe saying a prayer,
But it doesn’t end there.
Then, there’s the hope, the joy, the love,
As snow is falling from above,
Family and friends together.
But the joy doesn’t end when the tree goes
down,
When the branches no longer sparkle,
shimmer, or shine,
Because the stars still sparkle over the town.
