As the Academic coordinator of Velammal Matric Hr. Sec. School,
I feel honoured and privileged to be part of Velammal

educational institution. I believe in upholding high standards

with an absolute commitment to strive to understand and

improve the educational process, using team strategies, while
wholly centering on student achievement. Our staff fruitfully

employs two diverse strategies that are of Love and Logic to

foster a positive learning environment for all our students. While
love helps nurture trusting relationships, where students feel

respected, appreciated and loved by the teachers, logic helps

develop in students personal responsibility, self control, good
decision making skills self confidence, and character building

with high moral values A child has to also possess other

competencies and skills such as

communication, creativity, critical

thinking, innovation, compassion, self-
management and listening skills and

equally important is for one to be a life-

long learner. If one has to succeed in
these times of rapid change, I believe an

important skill to possess is adaptability.

COVID-19 pandemic has made a global

impact in the past week. In education
sector online learning provides an

opportunity to access from your homes,

thereby making good use of this

lockdown period for your skill
