education program offered 41 sessions in total including one keynote, four general sessions, two
workshops, and 34 breakout sessions, Anna reports that Maggie Highland presented a proposed “Call
for Programs” for the committee to consider for next year’s education program planning. This program
would offer an online form for speakers to propose a session to be delivered at the 2020 AMT National
Meeting. Committee members will review proposals as opposed to suggesting topics and turning over to
AMT Office Staff. AMT staff will communicate the “Call for Programs” to all AMT Membership and
provide resources to the committee for use during the process. The “Call” will be open for three months
and at the end AMT staff office will provide each subcommittee all programs submitted in their
respective tracks and provide the number of timeslots their subcommittee needs to fill. Benefits of using
a “Call for Programs” includes completing the education program further in advance and the scientific
speakers committee having more insight into the programming to ensure a balanced program. Anna
