Communications/Reminders:
There were a few reminders for the Editors during the workshop: Although these are sent
electronically through PEMC quick notes, we still reminded our Editors about:
                         • Minimum word count for all articles is 200.
                         • Don’t forget to send your Email blast along with your publication to be reviewed and we
can send them together to the AMT office.
                         • Please do not send your publication to the AMT office for posting without approval of the
PEMC Co-chair Sanda Jones, as this will not be posted without my review and approval.
                         • We also reminded the Presidents and Editors that the state social media sites; Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram are all monitored by the PEMC Co-Chair and that anything non-related
to AMT was not allowed. Basically, if it doesn’t fit into the AMT mission, we would
contact them for removal of these items.

               Conclusion:

Our priority for 2020 is to add a Social Media Vice Co-Chair to help guide state societies to a stronger
and more effective AMT Social Media presence. The Vice Co-Chair will also monitor the state social
media sites for any non-AMT information. The Vice Co-Chair can help guide states on how to setup their
               social media platforms if needed.

We hope with these changes and the continued guidance from the designated Oversight Councillor, and
the Executive Councillor, the Publications and Electronic Media Committee can help state societies
create an informative publication as well as offer an engaging social media presence.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
