and if she was performing high complexity testing in April 1995, she should be grandfathered to perform
               high complexity testing under Section 493.1489(b)(5)(ii).  That subsection grandfathers testing personnel
               who can document having the training in the skills listed in subsection 493.1489(b)(5)(i) and who were
               performing high complexity testing on or before April 25, 1995.

               National Bylaws

               Details of the status of amendments may be found in the Bylaws Committee Report.

               STATE INTERVENTIONS:

               Other Judiciary Councillor activities included reviews and responses to proposed federal and state
               legislation and the review and approval of proposed state bylaws and amendments.

               State Bylaws
               During the Fall of 2019 and Spring of 2020, the following societies presented bylaw reviews or revised
               state Bylaws to the membership, and obtained clearance for any revisions from the Judiciary Councillor:
               Rocky Mountain
               Arizona
               Alabama
               Mississippi
               California
               Oregon
               Pennsylvania

               FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
               In coordination with the Government Affairs Committee, the Judiciary Committee reviews
               correspondence and provides input on matters regarding Federal legislative and regulatory affairs.  This
               past year the committee addressed several issues that are described in the Government Affairs Report.

               STATE LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
               The committee reviewed correspondence and provided input regarding legislation and regulatory
               developments of interest at the state level involving licensure, practice scope, and other matters.

               A detailed report of all legislative activity can be found in the Government Affairs Report.

               The Judiciary Committee would like to thank the AMT staff for providing such prompt response to our
               numerous requests for information and documentation.  Special thanks to Chris Damon, Dr. James
               Fidler, Lisa Weisenberger, Bob Newberry, Edna Anderson, and Jeannie Hobson.
