4. A lot of bands identify a certain
niche sound, but you guys have a
lot of different sounds thrown in
there which is really cool. How do
you personally define your sound?
Our style and sound is hard to define and it is
Constantly changing and evolving. We don’t want
to be put into a box. You can hear some of our
influences in certain songs, like “Broken”
starts with a very Black Sabbath Sounding
intro and “The Mourning” draws heavily from Iron
Maiden, but each one is unique. We don’t think
any two of our songs sounds alike, but you can
tell by the lyrics that each one is a Seven Stone
Sacrifice song, Because our lyrics come from
our personal experiences, our personal views
on life and original, conceptual ideas, like
Chris’s short story “The Village By The Sea”,
which was the creative push behind our song
“The Mourning”. Chris and Lee often have really
creative, out of the box ideas that trigger lyrical
ideas to fit with the melodies that form in Ryan’s
head.
5. What do the band stand for?
We are a people band, and we really want
our lyrics and the music that drives it to stir
emotion, empathy,Passion, and strength in
our audience. Like Lee once said, “We live 6. What are your future goals for the band?
