The Liberty Bell
The bell is a replica of the bell from the city of Philadelphia in America.
In 1776 (they) ring the bell and invite all of the people in Philadelphia to
hear the American declaration of independence.
Why is the bell cracked?
When (they) ring the bell in Philadelphia for the first time - the bell
cracks! After (they) fix the bell, it can’t make a sound, so (they) have to
build a new bell. This is the bell that stands in Philadelphia to this day.
The bell in Jerusalem is also cracked, as a reminder of the first bell.
