The Bridge and Peace Monument
Yigal Tomarkin builds this sculpture in 1966 at the place where the
border between Israel and Jordan passes.
The idea behind the statue is the dream of peace.
There are motifs of war, work and peace in the sculpture.
Near the sculpture one can see a small world of peace: at the near
fountain Muslim and Jewish children swim together. Maybe this is the
real peace?
