Zecharia Yefet is ninety seven years old and is the last farmer in Bet Zait. For many years he has
(had) sheep and he takes care of them like his children. This week, when he goes to his sheep, he
sees that they’re not there, someone steals all of them. Farmers from all over Israel who hear his
story want to help him, and donate almost fifty sheep [to him]. No one is happier than Zecharia, the
sheep are his whole life. And now, every time he takes care of the sheep, he remembers that humans
too can give without receiving anything.
