Chaos in Britain
Britain’s Prime Minister asked for stability and got turmoil. Interesting
what the greatest copyrighter of all time in British history, Winston
Churchill, would have said about this. Though Theresa May tried to say
‘business as usual’ in the last twenty four hours, nothing in her body
language last night was reminiscent of the great confidence of two months
ago. But something went wrong for May along the way. The sloppy
campaign started with announcing a significant hit to the elderly and
health services. The British public’s furious reaction and ominous polls,
made her recant immediately. From here, in fact, the snowball started;
May was dragged after a dreary candidate who even his own party didn’t
believe in. the party didn’t but the British youth did. And then the terror
attacks came; Manchester found itself on ISIS’ sight. Immediately after
that, with the whole kingdom on high alert, the terror attack in London
occurred. And we still haven’t talked about the European Union looking
with concern at the political mayhem on the British island. Does a weak
May serve the interests of Paris, Brussels and Berlin and the other
members? Probably not.
