Saying Goodbye to Rabbi Shteinman

The Haredi public wakes up to a difficult morning this week when Rabbi Shteinman, the big leader
of the Lithuanian Haredi public in recent years, passes away at the age of a hundred and four.
(They) say about Rabbi Shteinman that he is a modest man, maybe too modest. He asks no more
than ten people at his funeral and doesn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but tens of thousands
come from all over Israel in order to say goodbye to the biggest Rabbi that remains from the old
generation.
