New Order on the Road

For several years (we have been) talking about this, but now it’s happening – inspectors in Tel Aviv
give a fine to (those) who ride a bicycle on the sidewalk and not on a special bicycle trail. As of
today, (those) who ride an electric bicycle, can only ride on the road. This is good for (those) who
walk, but for (those) who ride a bicycle it’s dangerous. Inspectors give fines of up to one thousand
NIS even to those who talk on the phone while riding.
