Running the Fastest
Nineteen year old Diana Viseman already felt the Israeli record she’s about to break in (her) legs.
The weather was good, and she came prepared. No one has been able to break the Israeli record for
running that Esther Roth-Shahamorov set in nineteen seventy two, for forty six years. Esther came
herself in order to congratulate Diana on the new Israeli achievement for the hundred meter dash:
eleven seconds and forty five hundredths. Diana’s career has just begun, but for Israeli athletics she
hopes that her rcord will be broken faster than Shahamorov’s.
