The MeToo Campaign
More than the best shows there were on TV this year, what was interesting
about the Golden Globe ceremony this year was the MeToo campaign that
comes out against sexual harassment in Hollywood. All the women who
took part in the ceremony wore a black gown, and all the men wore a pin.
Oprah Winfrey won a lifetime achievement award, and talked about
women’s strength. There are people who, after hearing her, said that she’s
thinking about running for President of the United States. And we won’t
forget Gal Gadot, who was also very popular that night. Everyone wanted
a selfie with her, paparazzi didn’t leave her alone and she was the first to
give out an award.
