The Future of Shopping

What do you do when you come back home, open the fridge, and see that there’s no milk? Amazon
thinks that in a few years you can go into an app, order the milk, and wait for a drone that brings it
to your home. Amazon believes that this is the future, and so it buys the big Whole Foods food
chain this week. Amazon also believes that (you) don’t need registers at the supermarket, and that a
smart supermarket can know what we take off the shelf. Anyway, there’s still a lot of time before
this comes to Israel.
