Wanting to Build in Qalqilya

This is the political drama of the last week. In the Palestinian city of Qalqilya (they) want to build
fourteen thousand new apartments, because they say that there’s no room for all the people there.
The political right in Israel really isn’t happy and thinks that the Palestinians don’t need to build so
much. They say that it’s too close to Jewish homes, and also think that if (they) build in the
Palestinian city, (they) should also build in the settlements. Everyone understands that the big
question here is about the future of C territories.
