What’s in our Trash?
Every day, from every home in Israel, there are thousands of tons of trash. Where does this trash go
to? Today, (they) take a lot of the trash and put in into the ground, but a new plant wants to do
something different. In this plant (they) take trash like nylon and plastic and make fuel out of it.
(They) can sell this fuel and get money for it. Now the question is whether (we) even have to
separate trash at home, if it doesn’t matter in the end? Ron Huldai, the mayor of Tel Aviv, says it
doesn’t.
