UNAMBIGUOUS COMMUNICATION

These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth when they were
created…(Gen 2,4)

Since God used the word to create the world, the word will ultimately reunite the
creation with its creator. For instance, when we recite a blessing over food, we
produce sounds that evoke this Divine, primordial words that, according to Jewish
mystic thought, gave that food form. The blessing is our way of reestablishing the
link between physical matter and its Divine root. Moreover, a person reciting a
blessing creates a metaphysical "vibrating" field that affects the psychological state
of those present, elevating them spiritually

As the prophet Amos said, at the end of days, humanity will be thirsty for the
word of the God: not a famine for bread, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the
words of the Lord.
