                          The Statue of Tolerance

The statue of tolerance is found in Armon HaNatziv at a special point where it
is possible to see the Old City in the north and also the Judean desert and the
Herodeion in the south.
The height of the statue is 17 meters and it is made entirely from bronze. The
Polish artist Dzwigaj crafted it. The artist donated the statue to Jerusalem. The
statue is built from two halves of a broken column and in the middle of the
statue grows an olive tree. Next to the statue is a wall on which is written names
of nations who support the idea of tolerance.
Around the statue grows the Garden of Tolerance.
Dzwigaj said that he chose to erect the statue in Jerusalem because it is the
closest city to G-d.
Let's think about the significances of the structure of the statue.
