Kosher Disneyland

This is what you see today as you look south from Dimona – desert. But

stop for a moment now and come with us for a tour at what’s about to
become the world’s first Jewish Disneyland. Welcome to Wonder Park, a

thousand square kilometers of rides designed by the American company

that’s behind two of the world’s biggest theme parks: the Magic Kingdom
and Harry Potter in Orlando. “We’re actually going to build a new

destination in the state of Israel that will change the whole Negev.” The
park, according to the plan, will include (an equivalent of) Orlando’s

Splash Mountain, but here the mountains of Colorado will be replaced by

mountains of (Jewish) legacy books reaching the height of fifty meters,
and the bungee jump ride, the Drop Zone, will get the appearance of

Jacob’s Ladder. The goal is to integrate Jewish values with extreme rides.

The cost of building the park is estimated at four hundred million dollars,
and the entrepreneurs have already managed to recruit a few investors.

According to the plan, this desert is going to become a park in five years

from today.
