הפרשה הסוערת שבסופה נכנס הרב, אחרי חמש שנים.גם הרב פינטו לא האמין שהיום הזה יגיע

אבל רק בודדים היו שם, המשטרה ציפתה למאות אנשים שילוו את פינטו ביום הזה.אבל איחר
הרב פינטו היה. אתמול בערב עוד הספיק לדבר עם תלמידיו בפעם האחרונה.לפי בקשתו של הרב
פינטו הודה בעבר. שהרבה אנשים חשובים בפוליטיקה ובמשטרה הלכו אחריו,מטאור גדול
. מי יודע אם זהו באמת הסוף של הפרשה הסוערת. אבל חזר בו,בשוחד

Rabbi Pinto also in Jail
Even Rabbi Pinto didn’t believe that this day would come. After five years the turbulent affair
ended, at the end of which Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto went to jail, guilty of (taking a) bribe. Pinto had
to arrive at the prison at one o’clock, but was late. The police expected hundreds of people to escort
Pinto on this day, but only few were there, at the Rabbi’s request. Last night he managed to talk to
his students for the last time. Rabbi Pinto was a great meteor after whom many important people in
politics and in the police followed. Pinto confessed to the bribe in the past, but recanted. Who
knows if this is really the end of the turbulent affair.
