General Structure
Infinitive Form
In most cases the vowels in the infinitive form in this Pa'al group are:
LA...U... LA...O... LA…EE…
..A.. are the core sound pattern vowels
Example:
to live – ָלגוּר
to come – בוֹא ָל
to sing – יר ִ ש ָל
Present Tense
There is only one vowel in the present tense in this group - "A".
Thus, verbs in this group consist of one syllable in the present tense.
That's why we call this group "Hit and Run".
