A Tragedy at Sea
(You) have to be very careful when you go into the sea in Israel. Over the last weekend the singer
Amir Frisher Guttman drowns while saving his niece. This happens at a beach with no lifeguard.
Since the beginning of the year about a hundred people drown, with twelve of them it doesn’t end
well. In Israel there are a hundred and forty kilometers of beaches (you) can go into, but only
seventeen kilometers have a lifeguard. Baruch Harush, a lifeguard in Haifa, says that (you)
shouldn’t go into the sea on a beach where there’s no lifeguard if you don’t want more tragedies.
