Misgav Ladach Hospital

In the 19th century, many Jews who are very poor and sick live in
the old city. The Rothschild
family gives money in order
to build a hospital. (They)
call the hospital: “Misgav
Ladach”.
One doctor works at the
hospital: Dr. Mazerki, and he is the doctor for thousands of
patients at the hospital.
In 1948 there is a terrible [hard] war in Israel, and there’s no room
at the hospital for all of the patients and wounded people. After
the war (they) build a new hospital in the Katamon neighborhood.
