Rachel the poetess - ‫ר ֵחל ַה ְּמׁשֹו ֶר ֶרת‬

English translation
The poetess Rachel was born in 1890 in Russia. Rachel starts writing
poems at the age of 15. At the age of 19 Rachel comes to visit Israel
with her sister. Rachel loves Israel and wants to live in Israel. In Israel
Rachel lives in a kibbutz close to the Kinnereth. (Sea of Galilee).
Rachel loves the kibbutz and the Kinnereth. In 1919 Rachel gets sick
with tuberculosis. The people in the kibbutz are afraid and tell her to
go. Rachel is very sad and she comes to Jerusalem. She lives in a small
house close to Helena Kagan's house. There she writes many poems
about Kinntereth, the Land of Israel and about love.
Rachel dies in 1931 and her tomb is very close to the Kinntereth.
