What to do When it’s Hot?
On the hottest day in July so far thirty six degrees were measured at Zikim Beach, Dror decided that
this is a good opportunity to invite friends and set a table at the beach. Rani, a farmer from Nahal
Oz, had to go out and water the field today, but most of his employees stayed at home to rest. In
Jerusalem kids cooled off at the water fountains, and in Tel Aviv at the beach there weren’t many
people at noon, but waiter Tal actually wanted to work in the heat, he prefers to go out and meet
people and not sit in an office with an air conditioner. In Eilat too, where there were forty four
degrees today, everyone was in the water all day.
