Little House in Baka

It is true that the house is called "Little House," but it is not small at all.
In 1939, a wealthy Arab family built the house and, like any other fancy
Arab house, a large water cistern was built near the house. The cistern was
designed to store rainwater and allow people who live in the house to drink
and use them comfortably. In 1948, during the War of Independence, the
Arab residents of the neighborhood fled from Baka, and so did the residents
of the house, and at the end of the war, Baka became part of the State of
Israel.
In 1999 a businessman named Oded bought the house, renovated it and
turned it into a boutique hotel. The large water cistern of the house has
changed its purpose and is now used as a bar with a special atmosphere.
