Olmert Goes to Jail

The Supreme Court decided that Ehud Olmert, Israel's former Prime Minister, has to go to jail for a
year and a half. The judges ruled that Olmert isn't guilty at the Holyland affair, but did think that he
took a bribe on another matter. Olmert is happy about the decision, and continued to smile all day
long. The judges said that Olmert hurt the public, who can no longer believe politicians. Maybe
more than anything (we) should take the words of Justice Neal Hendel, who said that a day when a
former prime minister goes to jail, is a day of darkness.
