SEMESTER SPORTING HIGHLIGHTS                                                        | 29


    BMGS was represented in the ISA Competition Grand Finals in each of our summer sports.  Reaching
    the Semi-Finals were the First XI Cricket, both the Senior and Junior Girls Touch Football teams, The
    U13 Blue, the U13 Gold, the U15 Gold and the First V Boys’ Basketball teams, and the Intermediate
    B, Open C and First V Girls’ Basketball teams.
    In the Grand Finals, the First XI (Cricket) were Runners-Up to Oxley College (who scored 3/121
    in reply to BMGS 115).  Gaining Premierships this year were the First V (Girls’ Basketball) who
    defeated St. Spyridon College (25-18) the Intermediate B (Girls’ Basketball) who defeated Central
    Coast Grammar School  (17-12) and the U15 V (Boys’ Basketball) who defeated St. Andrew’s
    Cathedral School (31-26).  Finally, the Senior Girls’ Touch Football team defeated Chevalier College
    2-0, to become ISA Premiers in their very first season in the sport - a wonderful achievement!
