āyāt, such as Yā-Ṣīn, Yā-Ṣīn or Ya Laṭīf, Ya Laṭīf in order to

                            be repeated tens of times, hundreds of times or thousands of

                            times for which there is no example of from the Messenger of
                            Allāh  nor his Ṣaḥābat . Because if such matters were good,

                            then surely the Messenger of Allāh  and his Ṣaḥābat  would

                            already have practiced it.

                       13.  It is not permitted for any person from amongst the Muslims
                            (whether ‘he’ be a dāfiin,  ustādh,  kyai, ḥabīb, community

                            leader or teacher, etc.) to make a specific dufiā√ or dhikr for
                            which there is no sunnah from the Messenger of Allāh , and

                            then they teach it to the Muslim community and it becomes a

                            routine wirid practiced at every opportune time and the dufiā√
                            and dhikr taught by the Messenger of Allāh  are discarded.

                            These actions are held to be lawful but have not been permitted

                            by Allāh :

                       Or have they partners with Allāh (false gods), who have instituted
                       for them a Deen which Allāh has not allowed…
