Imām Ash Shāṭibī ﷲا ﻪﲪر explains: “An assembly of dhikr is
in truth an assembly that teaches Al Qur√ān, knowledge of the dīn,
reminds the community of the sunnah of the Prophet so that they
practice it, explains bidfiah so that the community is carefully aware

of it and avoids it. This in truth is what an assembly of dhikr is”.
The Messenger of Allāh said: “The superiority of a person
with fiIlmu as compared to a servant is like the superiority of the

full moon over all the stars”.
The Messenger of Allāh said:

“The superiority of knowledge I love better than the superiority of
fiibādah, and the best of your dīn is Al Warafi”.

Imām Ibnu Qayyim ﻪﲪ ﷲا ر said: “Whoever strives for fiilm for
a life of and establishment of Islām, then ‘he’ is amongst Aṣ
