                   9.  Racket Sports Committee  meets quarterly on the 3 Friday at
                   10:15am in the Conference Room.  Its purpose is to assist the Director of
                   Golf & Tennis, encourage interest in tennis, and provide residents with

                   the opportunity for a healthy and safe tennis experience.

                   10. Community Life Services Committee meets monthly on the 1  Monday
                   in  the  Club  Room  at  10:00am.  Its  purpose  is  to  assist  and  advise  the
                   Community Life Services Department in developing social and leisure ac-
                   tivities that enhance life at Freedom Plaza through physical, emotional,

                   social, intellectual, spiritual, and purposeful programs.  The Movie Com-
                   mittee is a subcommittee of this committee.

                   11. Resident Services Committee discusses needs and concerns of resi-
                   dents regarding health problems, recommends improvements, and pro-

                   vides assistance for resident health programs organized by management.

                   12.  VIP  (Visually  Impaired Person) Committee  meets the 1  Tuesday at
                   2:00pm in the Club Room. It provides support, education, and entertain-
                   ment for our visually impaired residents.


                   Typically there is a Residents Association General Meeting (RAG) on the

                   4  Friday of every other month at 10:00am starting in January. There is a
                   mini-meeting of the Council at 9:30am prior to the RAG. There is a full

                   meeting  of  the  Council  every  other month  on  the  4  Friday  starting  in
                   February at 9:30am in the Club Room. Generally there is no meeting in
                   December.  These meetings are announced in the weekly and notices are
                   posted in the elevators.

                   The RAC officers are elected at the February meeting and formally in-

                   stalled at the March RAG, as are any newly elected RAC Representatives.
                   The officers of RAC serve for a term of two years as do the RAC Reps, and
                   most RAC committee are limited to nine members.  Committees desig-

                   nated as working committees such as the Maintenance Committee may
                   have  additional  members  as  required.  Committee  members  serve  for
                   one two-year term and may serve for additional terms by approval of
                   the Council. Residents of the same apartment are not allowed to serve

                   together on any committee, and no resident may serve on more than
                   two committees concurrently.
