103 Evaluation of the Results

Visions
ermany, Ireland and Portugal prepared two movies about food in the
G future. There were many and different results and ways of how to
evaluate problems of food in the future.
An important aspect of the Portuguese movie was a robot, which organizes
everything and helps in the household. The food is printed in a 3D-printer
and people are able to order everything. Meals such as dragon flies or other
insects are a normal meal in the future and meat is produced in labs, so we
do not have to kill animals anymore. Additionally, there are chemical drinks
and meal pills. As a result, you do not have to eat a whole meal. Technology
and science are constantly improving. People do not have to waste time on
the production of food, because machines produce what we eat.
The German movie focused on insects like flour worms, grasshoppers, buf-
falo-worms or crickets which are eaten, because the consumption of meat
is too high and too many plant nutrients are used for meat production. We
might have to take medication before our meals due to many pesticides in
the food. Furthermore, we will follow trends and might eat powdered food
because of climate change and the scarcity of food.
