           4 tbsp breadcrumbs
           4 tbsp milk
           ½ lb ground pork

           ½ lb ground beef
           (or ground veal or both)
           3 tbsp grated onions

           1 egg , lightly beaten
           4 whole allspice, crushed
           salt + white pepper

           2 tbsp unsalted butter (for frying)
           1¼ cup beef stock
           3 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved
           in 2 tablespoons water
           1 tbsp soy sauce
           freshly ground black pepper
           ½ cup heavy whipped cream
