DAVE MANLEY has toured extensively
with acts including Herbie Hancock,
Jill Scott, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Musiq
Soulchild, and even Dave
Chappelle, among others. The
highly-regarded session guitarist was
originally from Detroit but settled in
Philly while still young where he
became friends with members of The
Roots. He went on to become a go-
to session player for soul vocalists in
the late 90’s and onward. He laid
down neo-soul and jazz for the
crowd that packed in to see the
unsung guitar legend.
