ICTV: That was the next big hurdle…how do we pay artists? We pondered

this for quite some time. Since we are funding the initial launch ourselves, “As our viewership
we needed to come up with something that we can afford to do, as well as,
                                                                                      increases, so will our ad
creating a simple system to determine which artists get paid what. We are
revenue. The plan is that as
in the process of launching Phase One. We have developed a simple
charting system that is very user-friendly. Once we receive the first 150 revenues increase, the
                                                                                      amount per play will
submissions, the charting will begin. All accepted videos will be posted on

the video library section of our site. All videos will be searchable by artist, increase as well. In other
song title, or genre. When a video is viewed, it registers as a vote. At the words -- the better we do,

end of the month, all views are tallied, and the top 150 most-viewed videos the better the artists do as

make it to the Indie Cast TV 24-hour linear channel. Each time an artist’s
video plays on the IndieCast TV 24-hour linear channel they are paid 25 well.”

cents. So, the more plays the artist receives and the higher up on the chart
they get, the more money they make.

KP: 25 cents a play for a popular artist can really turn into something significant. Other platforms are only

paying fractions of a penny per play.

ICTV: Now, 25 cents per view is our initial offer. As our viewership increases, so will our ad revenue. The plan is
that as revenues increase, the amount per play will increase as well. In other words -- the better we do, the
better the artists do as well.

KP: So, you mentioned that was Phase One. Are there future phases that will give artists more opportunities
        to earn revenue?

ICTV: Yes. Phase Two will bring monetization of the video library views. This is similar to what other internet
platforms are doing. We will be selling 15-second pre-roll ads at an introductory offer of 5 cents each.
Advertisers can set their budget as well as geo-target their ads.

        KP: Geo-target their ads?

ICTV: Yes. Let’s say you’re a club located in New York City. You can determine who will see your ad based on the
geographical location of the viewer. Obviously, someone watching in Chicago would not be interested in going
clubbing in New York City, but someone in New Jersey or New York would. So, you can geo-target your ad to
only be seen where your potential customers are…which means no wasted views.

KP: So how does an artist on IndieCast TV benefit?

ICTV: Each time a pre-roll ad runs on an artist’s video, we split that nickel 50/50 with that artist.

KP: Wow…that can really add up.

“Our plan is to entertain, educate, ICTV: Yes, it can. For example, for every one-thousand times an ad runs
prior to a video view, that artist will get paid $25. That begins the very
and inspire, so besides featuring first time that ad runs. Just to reiterate, this is Phase Two. As our sales
these great music videos, we will teams secure advertisers, this phase will begin. Phase One is fully
be producing other shows as well. funded, so artists who make it to the top 150 will begin getting 25 cents
It’s very important to us that per play from their first play on the IndieCast TV 24-hour channel.
IndieCast TV maintains a very high
standard.” KP: Will you be featuring music videos only or will there be other
                                              content?
