ICTV: Our plan is to entertain, educate, and inspire, so besides featuring these great music videos, we will be
producing other shows as well. These programs will include live concerts and biographies, along with live viewer
participation shows where artists and fans will have an opportunity to ask questions through Skype and email
with industry professionals as well as fellow artists. These professionals will include producers, entertainment
lawyers, engineers, equipment manufacturers, and many others.
KP: Will all videos be accepted or is there a screening process?
ICTV: Unfortunately, not every video submitted will be accepted. It’s very important to us that IndieCast TV
maintains a very high standard. This creates a value to the artist that are approved and a sense of pride and
prestige to be selected. It also ensures a great experience for our viewers. As we are a linear channel, people
will tune out if we are not broadcasting the best music available. It’s all about quality, not quantity. There are
plenty of other platforms that accept anything and everything -- if that’s what you’re looking for.
“It’s all about quality, not KP: Is IndieCast TV open to all genres of music?
ICTV: Yes, IndieCast TV is not only open to all genres of music, it really is the
quantity. There are plenty of essence of our mission. Video on demand sites like YouTube have changed
other platforms that accept
anything and everything -- if the way people consume music. People who are into rock are only listening
that’s what you’re looking for. to rock and people into rap are only listening to rap. When a viewer tunes
in to watch IndieCast TV, they will experience a mix of various genres, which
IndieCast TV is not only open to provides an opportunity to broaden their musical horizon. They just may

the essence of our mission.” a listen to. So, there’s the potential for an artist to gain a new fan that they
otherwise would not have had the opportunity to reach.
KP: What are your long-term plans to develop your platform and its reach?
ICTV: We are very excited about the future and feedback has all been positive so far. Our goals are, first and
foremost, to continue to offer our viewers well-produced and entertaining content. Also, we seek to grow the
IndieCast community along with the ability to offer more money-generating and exposure opportunities for
artists, including concerts and merchandising opportunities, as well as useful knowledge to enable artists to
expand their fan base. A long-term goal is to ensure that an artist will have no reason to put their video on any
other platform other than IndieCast TV, as they get paid from the very first play. Thus, when an enterprising
artist is contemplating where to place their video and drive their fans, the choice will be clear. Instead of a
platform that will either charge them or pay them a fraction of a penny per play…they will place their video on
IndieCast TV where views mean money!
KP: Tell our readers, who are primarily indie artists and fans, where they can find IndieCast TV?

be available on Roku, Apple TV, Kodi, and Crowd TV. Check our website to stay updated on breaking
developments and new opportunities. Also follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @indiecastmtv.
