Andy was animated and energized throughout the show. At times he mimicked a
concoction of epileptic dance gyrations or doing his own version of the robot dance.
Andy enabled the crowd to participate in this persuasive role -- and like the Pied
Piper of Hamelin, the crowd did follow.
OMD then got behind their perspective instruments before breaking into fan
favorites “Radio Prague,” and “Genetic Engineering,” with Andy telling the crowd
that “dancing is compulsory!” After performing their classic track “Messages,” Andy
then suggested that the audience “Save your energy, we have so much dancing to
do!” Andy’s provocations continued song after song. After performing “Tesla Girls,”
and “History of Modern Part 1,” he made a witty remark: “It’s always good to see a
room full of people jumping up and down to a song about the end of the world!”
