The crowds’ laughter subsided as soon as
Dallas began crooning into the microphone.
The only phones out were ones taking
pictures and videos. Fans were fully focused
on Dallas, singing along to every word, and
listening to the back story behind what
inspired him to write his songs.
City and Colour is the stage name taken by
Dallas Green, which is a play on his own
name as his first name is a city, and his last
name is a color. Dallas hails from St
Catherine’s in Ontario, Canada. He is also the
rhythm guitarist, song writer, and vocalist for
the post hardcore band Alexisonfire, though
the style of music is much harder than the
acoustic songs he produces for City and
Colour, his vocals are undeniable.
