Dallas Green’s stage presence and stories
made his near sold-out show at the Orpheum
Theater in Boston, MA, feel as if you were at an
intimate show in the back room of a local bar.
“This song is about being in an argument in a
phone booth in London and the calling card runs
out of time, walking to the convenience store
around the corner to buy another calling card, comin’ home
just to go back to the phone booth to call and
get back into the middle of the argument,”
Green told fans at the Orpheum of his song
Comin’ Home. The crowd laughed, Dallas
leaned back toward the microphone adjusting
his guitar, “I know! No one ever thinks that’s
what the song is about,” he said with a laugh.
