Petras has come a very long way from sleeping on a recording

studio couch. Her world tour continues into 2024, ending in
Milan, Italy, in March. With catchy choruses and relatable song
lyrics, it’s easy to see how Petras has captivated so many.

Petras was quoted in an interview with Noisey in 2017 as
saying, “There’s something about making a song that

everybody can sing and remember, and when you listen to it
the first time, you already know the words by the second
chorus, like you've always known the song. I'm obsessed with
that idea."

As Petras closed her encore with the song “Heart To Break,”
it was evident that she achieved the exact goal she set out to

when she first started making music. Fans and even staff
working the concert who hadn’t listened to Kim Petras before
were singing along, not because her lyrics are predictable,

rather they hook your heart and don’t let go. ION certainly
hopes Petras keeps feeding the beast all over the world on
tour and in her recording studio.
