Miles Davis isn’t the only collaborator with which Kenny Garrett has worked. The list is too
long to cover all of the other brilliant jazz artists whose paths he has crossed, but a few are
Marcus Miller, Art Blakey, Wallace Roney, John Scofield, and Roy Haynes. Leading his own

band, he recorded 19 albums, with 5 being nominated for Grammys. He won a Grammy
working together with Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Christian McBride, and Vinnie Colaiuta
in their group “Five Peace Band.”
