The Baby Grand theater at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware nearly filled with listeners
seeking a unique take on Americana that call themselves Bumper Jacksons. The DC area-based band traces
to 2012 when Jess Eliot Myhre and Chris Ousley first came together as a duo. They expanded their lineup to
add a driving soulful rhythm backing and some brass accent on top. In the years since, they have been
recognized with multiple awards by the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation and the Washington Area Music
Awards. With 3 albums in their catalog, Bumper Jacksons has increasingly expanded their reach as they tour
the country more and more.
