also got a chance to talk to some companies and see
what was the latest and greatest with them. Some
included D’Addario Mic Stand Accessory System,
Flight Customizable Travel Ukulele, Distributed by Hal
Leonard, Noatronic Onboard Expression, MuzicLight
Backlit Guitar Holder, Nu:Tekt by Korg DIY Synth
Range, and Radial Engineering Power Series.

Other notables were Death By Audio, who released
the “mood-bending” ROOMS Stereo Reverberator,
and Jackson Custom Shop, who was celebrating its
40th anniversary with 12 stunning guitars. In addition, Brianna Thomas
MIDI 2.0 spec confirmed “the biggest advance in
music technology in decades.”

The best new signature model guitars of NAMM 2020
were Joe Duplantier Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 2 HH
E Mahogany, Ibanez Yvette Young YY10, Fender Jim
Root Jazzmaster V4, Framus D Series, Devin
Townsend Stormbender, William DuVall Talisman,
and Fender Tom Morello Soul Power Strat. And, also
presented is a newcomer to the synth world, the ASM
