Group Efficiency
The interactions between piles in group
and the adjacent soil are very complex.
The ultimate capacity of a pile group is
not necessarily equal to the ultimate
capacity of a single pile multiplied by
their number.
The effect of these interactions on the
axial capacity is called group efficiency.
