Loop Knots
OverhAnd LOOP
The simplest of loop knots, it’s also one that creates
a lot of frustration. The overhand loop has the unfor-
tunate tendency to practically weld itself into a rope
when any part of it is pulled hard. In some cases, it’s
better just to give up and use a knife to cut off the
loop.
1. make a long bight in the working end of the cord.
