Afteracontaminateddrughasbeenremoved,shelves,
walls and floors should be thoroughlycleaned and
sprayedwithacontactinsecticide.
Weekly air-sprayingwithpyrethrins andtheuseof
slowreleasedichlorvosstrips,controlair-borninsects.
Fumigation istheonlypracticalmeansofkillinginsects
and mites in bulk masses. Methyl bromide and
ethyleneoxide havebeencommonlyused.
