Important steps to do:
1- asking about the duration of sickness
2-history examination,frequency and difficultly of defecation.
3- physical examination.
4-asking about dietary habits
5-asking about severe symptoms(red flag).
6-checking the causes of referrals.
7-asking about times of meals.
8- checking current medication use.
Whenever establishing treatment algorithm determining the cause of
referrals and red flag is crucial to obtain effective treatment whether
treatment will include modification in dietary habit or drug intervention
